Along with that, Jollibee also served other dishes like sweet-style spaghetti, fries, and burgers while mostly getting influences from the Filipino, Chinese, American and European cuisine.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6631\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6631\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6631 size-full\" title=\"Tony Tan Caktiong\" src=\"https:\/\/skale.today\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/image004.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6631\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: Jolibee.com<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h5>As the primary brand of the Jollibee Foods Corporation, Jollibee has been reported to have over <b><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">1000 outlets all over the world<\/span><\/b> today including several branches in Asia, North America and Europe. [restrict]<\/h5>\n<p>While this could already be considered as a success, expansion remained at the table. Eventually, <b>Jollibee Foods Corporation acquired other brands,<\/b> some of them are its competitors, like Greenwich, Red Ribbon, Chowking, Mang Inasal, Burger King Philippines and recently, the American burger chain, Smashburger.<\/p>\n<p>With an <b><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">85% acquisition of <\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><b>S<\/b>mashburger<\/span><\/b>\u00a0to it&#8217;s portfolio in April 2017, Jolibee Foods Corporation\u00a0<b><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">net income rose by 15% to P$2.251 billion<\/span><\/b> in the second quarter of this year (2018).\u00a0Smashburger alone has over 300 branches in 37 states in thee United States and recorded sales of approximately US$200 million in 2017<\/p>\n<h5>Another favorable event in line and the diversification of Jolibee&#8217;s food portfolio is the 50-50<span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> joint venture between\u00a0 Jollibee Foods Corporation and Panda Restaurant Group.<\/span><\/h5>\n<p>The Panda Restaurant Group owns America&#8217;s<span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><b>\u00a0largest and most popular Chinese restaurant chain, Panda Express.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/business.inquirer.net\/257977\/jollibee-brings-panda-express-ph\">The joint venture will give way to the development of 5 initial Panda Express branches in Metro Manila<\/a>.<span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><b> The American-Chinese food chain alone\u00a0has more than 2,100 locations globally.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<h2>DoubleDragon Properties<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6633 size-full\" title=\"Tony Tan Caktiong\" src=\"https:\/\/skale.today\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/download.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"483\" height=\"104\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>The amazing aspect about those with entrepreneurial vision is that they&#8217;re able to spot and capitalise on opportunities regardless of industry<\/b>. And for Tony Tan Caktiong\u00a0 his success isn&#8217;t only limited to the F&amp;B industry.<\/p>\n<p>His holdings company, Honeystar Holdings Corporation, partnered with Edgar Sia II to open\u00a0<b><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">\u00a0real estate company DoubleDragon Properties Corporation<\/span><\/b>, formerly known as Injap Land Corporation, in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Their vision is to build a chain of branded community malls in commercial areas and provinces which has already started through the rise of CityMall in 2015. They also aim to build a million square meters of leasable space before 2020.<\/p>\n<h2>Entrepreneurial Spirit, Food and Family<\/h2>\n<p>When Tony Tan Caktiong and his brothers franchised Magnolia Ice Cream, they saw an excellent chance of building a new business out of it. Hence, the birth of Jollibee. It was such a phenomenon that the fast food outlet has become the<b> go-to place for family gatherings in the Philippines.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Regardless of all the influences from other cuisines, one of the things that Filipinos love about it is that <b><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Jolibee remains loyal to the Filipino taste,<\/span> <\/b>especially for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) as it serves as a home away from home.<\/p>\n<p>After 4 decades of serving people with <i>&#8216;happiness&#8217;,<\/i> there will surely be a lot more in store for this company. There&#8217;s never a perfect formula for success.
